Classic Barbershop experience. Professional shave and a haircut. Always leave with excellent hair ready for any occasion. Laid back atmosphere. Ask for Nate. It takes an hour for a proper haircut. Sit back and enjoy the attention to detail this place offers.

Best fades and one-mid haircuts I've ever had (beats Roosters IMO). Get served a Blue Ribbon and finished with a straight razor. Guys only and not for kids because you can expect bad language and loud music. Priced a little high at $35, but comparable to good spots.

Very phenomenal! Today was my first time visiting this barbershop. As soon as I entered, I was greeted and felt welcomed by on of their barbers, Paul. Fortunately, I was squeezed in. It is best to call for an appointment, and it is certainly well worth the wait. Their cuts came with a razor shave on the back of the neck, behind and over the ears. They used hot and moist towels before applying their nice and heated. He did a spectacular job. I forgot to add that I will be definitely coming back for my next haircut.

Rockabilly's, bombs, cuffed jeans, suspenders, quiff's, waterfalls, pomade. All things I consider when I come and when I think of Hawley's. It's classic central strand location in CM gives it good visibility, but it's size keeps it low key and grass roots. They really show off their memorabilia, but I wish I saw more OG hand sheers. In talking with a few of the barbers I kinda of get the feeling their clipper only kind of guys. I personally like having my hair cut with both scissors and clippers and finished with the straight razor. I love the shoulder massage they finish with. Classic black & white tiling, shop hand sweeping constantly, good music playing. Prices are consistent with the slightly higher OC beach rates. I do like their pomade and the other blends of shine and brilliantine cream and the mini cans. I guess it's part clientele, but the shop talk and conversations aren't quite what I'd thought they would be. It's not a lot of shop talk between men of many industries, it's more youthful ramblings and complaint. Less educational, but who am I to change the world. 5-6 chairs with a steady supply of customers, I wish there was more seated waiting area to almost lounge. You get great quality work here, consistent with the brand, but I did feel like I was rushed in and out with a little less attention to the details I described in my initial conversation about what i wanted. Classic side part, rounded nape, line up on the temples. My temples were barely looked at, my neck and nape were done well and I have a heavy natural part which they didn't match or maintain, it was alright, but clearly the altered what I already had going for me. After a comments it was fixed and I was offered to purchase their pomade which I did. I was hoping I misjudged it before and that it has been improved. Pricey for the pomade, but the haircut all in all was good. I'll definitely tell others about this rockabilly heaven.
