favorite nail salon period!  I drive past a dozen to get perfection here.

I'm a "out-of-towner" a needed a place to get my gel nail done and I am so glad I came here! It just conveniently next to Huntington Beach!
The nails salon itself is your typical home owned nail salon. Clean and organized.
My nail lady had properly took off my gel nails by filing it with a gentle filer and wrapped it in foil. (some places drills the polish off which I don't like). She then did a great manicure and was able to cut my cuticles perfectly! And then she prepared my nails properly (which I know when it's prepared correctly then it will last!).
And her painting was great! Not on my cuticles, each layer thin and smooth! Honestly on best manicure in my opinion...and I get a lot!
And even better...the cost was just $27! The cheapest gel manicure I have ever paid for! (Usually is $35!).

Good manicure for the price and mine lasted about a week. However, not the most friendly service.

To start, when I called to make a reservation here while visiting town, after I gave my number the lady just hung up. No "good bye" or "thank you, see you tomorrow," just a click! I called back to make sure she had my appointment recorded and she said, "yes, I have your number." Interesting customer service skills.

Upon arrival, it was pretty slow and two others were receiving pedicure services. When she worked on my cuticles, which I know were a little dry, it hurt a bit so it was rougher than most manicures I have back home.

When I went to pick a color, I pointed to one shade and my nail technician just said, "No, this one." And she chose another. Too funny, but I assume she knew her product and what would look good on my skin tone,  so I trusted her choice, even if it wasn't mine.

At $15, you can't beat the price and ability to get an appointment so quickly, especially in this busy "surf city" area.  

This will be remembered as an odd sort of customer experience, but I was satisfied  with how my nails turned out.

A plus was nearby "Bobasaur." Stopped there for an iced drink to take with me - great spot.

Everything is always perfect here, they also do massage, cold drinking water and coffee plus they have candy

Top HB Nails is "tops" in my book! They do beautiful mani's and pedi's and the price is very reasonable. I have found the customer service to be top notch and they don't try and oversell you for ten minutes while doing your nails. That is definitely one of my favorite things about this nail salon as I absolutely despise being pressured while trying to pamper myself. Pressure and pamper should never be used in the same sentence--talk about an oxymoron! All of the nail technicians that I have had are very sweet and do a great polishing job. As someone who is pretty rough with their hands, I can attest to the fact that their manicures last for several days. That's important as there is nothing quite as frustrating as having your nails done and the polish starts flaking in a day. For a nice pampering with no pressure, visit Top HB Nails.

Lovely salon, almost always have room for walk-ins, if not the wait is usually very short.

Clean. Great selection. Friendly. Convenient. Trendy. This is one of the best nail salons in the area! They are incredibly hygienic, well stocked with polish(gel and norma)l, super friendly, no language barrier. If you live in the neighborhood it is incredibly convenient and if you don't they even have a tiny parking lot in the back. No need to worry about those pesky meters out front. Yet the lot is tiny so if your worried definitely come in the morning or early afternoon that is when it least busy! Everytime i come here they treat me like a queen. They have packages/pricing for everyone so you don't have to worry about your wallet! If you want to come get spoiled for the day then this is definitely the place to do it!53rd
